Motherwell Football Club is a Scottish club from Motherwell in North Lanarkshire, founded on 17 May 1886. It plays at Fir Park and competes in the Premiership, from which it has not been relegated since 1985, one of the longest unbroken runs in Scottish football. The club won the league in 1932 and the Scottish Cup in 1952 and 1991. It plays in claret and amber and is nicknamed the Well. It has been owned by its supporters since 2016.
