FC Bayern München is a German football club from Munich in Bavaria, founded on 27 February 1900. It plays at the Allianz Arena, a ground of 75,024 places, and competes in the Bundesliga. Bayern have won the German championship more than thirty times, the DFB-Pokal twenty times and the European Cup six times, and completed the treble in 2013 and 2020. It plays in red and white and is nicknamed Der FC Bayern. Its membership is the largest of any sports club in the world.
