Cineworld is a British cinema chain headquartered in London and the second largest cinema operator in the world after AMC Theatres, with 9,139 screens at 747 sites in ten countries. It trades as Cineworld Cinemas and Picturehouse in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as Cinema City in central and eastern Europe, as Planet in Israel and as Regal Cinemas in the United States. Its site on Renfrew Street in Glasgow is the tallest cinema in the world.
