Lowes Foods is an American supermarket chain that began in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and now trades in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Its stores carry a full grocery range together with deli, bakery, meat, seafood, produce, dairy and floral departments. The chain belongs to Alex Lee, Inc., a family held company based in Hickory, North Carolina, which also runs a food wholesaling business. It has no connection with the home improvement retailer Lowe's.
