Action is a Dutch non-food discount chain founded in 1993 in Enkhuizen. It sells household goods, decoration, stationery, toys, garden items and small electricals, most of it below one euro, from a range that changes every week. The chain has grown to well over two thousand stores in more than a dozen European countries and is one of the fastest-expanding retailers on the continent.
