Ampol is an Australian petroleum company founded in 1936 as the Australian Motorists Petrol Company, headquartered in Sydney. It refines, imports and distributes fuel and runs a national network of service stations. The company traded as Caltex Australia for two decades and returned to the Ampol name in 2020, restoring one of the older brands in Australian motoring.
