Big Y Foods, Inc. is an American supermarket chain in Massachusetts and Connecticut, trading as Big Y World Class Market and Big Y Supermarket. It was founded in Chicopee, Massachusetts, is wholly owned by the D'Amour family and is run today by the cousins Charles and Michael D'Amour, from a head office in Springfield, Massachusetts. With more than 12,000 staff it is one of the largest independently owned supermarket chains in New England, and the fifth largest chain in the region overall.
