Czech Airlines, abbreviated to ČSA, is a Czech airline brand and holding company established in 1923. Between 1923 and 2024 it was the flag carrier first of Czechoslovakia and then of the Czech Republic, flying from its hub at Václav Havel Airport Prague, and it was the first airline in the world to run regular jet only routes. It joined the privately owned Smartwings Group in 2017, filed for bankruptcy in 2021 and stopped its own flight operations in October 2024, continuing as the group's parent company.
