Hvidovre IF is a Danish football club from Hvidovre on the western edge of Copenhagen, founded on 15 October 1925. It plays at the Pro Ventilation Arena, a ground of about 12,000 places, and competes in the 1st Division, the second tier of Danish football. The club won three Danish championships between 1966 and 1981. It plays in red and white and is nicknamed De Gamle Kæmper, the Old Giants. Michael Laudrup began his career here.
