Konzum is the largest supermarket chain in Croatia, with more than 700 stores and over 10,000 employees, serving some 650,000 customers a day. The company has its head office in Zagreb and has been part of Fortenova Group since 1 April 2019. There are Konzum stores in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro as well. In 2005 it started the drugstore chain Kozmo, which it sold in 2009 and which was taken over by the German retailer Müller in 2017.
