Partick Thistle Football Club is a Scottish club from Glasgow, founded in 1876. It plays at Firhill Stadium in the Maryhill district, a ground of 10,887 places, and competes in the Scottish league. Despite its name the club has not played in Partick since 1908. It won the Scottish Cup in 1921 and the League Cup in 1971, beating Celtic 4-1. It plays in red and yellow and is nicknamed the Jags. As Glasgow's third club it has long cultivated a wry, self-aware supporter culture.
