Standard Liège is a Belgian football club from Liège, founded in 1898. It plays at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne, a ground of 27,670 places known as Sclessin, and competes in the Belgian Pro League. Standard has won ten Belgian championships and eight cups, and reached the Cup Winners' Cup final in 1982. It plays in red and white and is nicknamed Les Rouches. Its ground stands among the old steelworks along the Meuse.
