Udinese Calcio is an Italian football club from Udine in Friuli, founded in 1896 as a gymnastics and fencing society. It plays at the Bluenergy Stadium, a ground of 25,132 places, and competes in Serie A. The club finished runner-up in the league in 1955 and has been a regular in the top flight for three decades. It plays in black and white stripes and is nicknamed Le Zebrette. Its scouting network in South America and Africa is among the most productive in Europe.
