Weis Markets is an American supermarket chain founded in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, where it still has its head office. The Weis family owns about 65 per cent of the company and Jonathan Weis is chairman, president and chief executive. Its stores trade in Pennsylvania and neighbouring states in the mid Atlantic, selling groceries, fresh produce, meat and its own store brands. The company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
