Correos is the national postal operator of Spain. Its full name is Sociedad Estatal Correos y Telégrafos, S.A., S.M.E., a state owned public limited company whose shares are held by the Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales, the industrial holding company of the Spanish state. Its main headquarters are on Conde de Peñalver street in Madrid. The company handles letter post and parcel delivery throughout the country.
