Austin FC is an American soccer club from Austin, Texas, founded in 2018 and playing in Major League Soccer since 2021. It plays at Q2 Stadium in north Austin, a ground of 20,738 places built for the club, and competes in the Western Conference. Austin FC was the first major league professional team in the Texas capital, and reached the Western Conference final in only its second season. It plays in green and black, is nicknamed the Verde, and its supporters' section is known for a matchday atmosphere modelled on the city's music scene.
