Houston Dynamo FC is an American soccer club from Houston, Texas, established on 15 December 2005 when the San Jose Earthquakes moved to the city. It plays at Shell Energy Stadium, a ground of 20,656 places, and competes in Major League Soccer. The Dynamo won MLS Cup in their first two seasons, in 2006 and 2007, and the US Open Cup in 2018 and 2023. They play in orange and is known as the Orange Crush. The club's women's team, the Houston Dash, shares the stadium.
