Medisch Spectrum Twente is the hospital of Enschede in the east of the Netherlands, serving the Twente region near the German border. It is a clinical teaching centre that trains doctors and nurses, and it provides secondary care together with a limited range of tertiary care. It belongs to Santeon, a co operative of large Dutch teaching hospitals that compare their treatment results with one another in order to improve them.
