P. F. Chang's China Bistro is an American casual dining restaurant chain serving Asian fusion cuisine. It was founded in 1993 by Paul Fleming and Philip Chiang, and the name combines Fleming's initials with a form of Chiang's surname. The company is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. Centerbridge Partners owned and ran the chain until 2 March 2019, when it was bought by the private equity firms TriArtisan Capital Advisors and Paulson & Co.
