1. SK Prostějov is a Czech football club from Prostějov in the Olomouc Region, founded in 1904 and one of the older names in Moravian football. It plays at the Stadion Za Místním nádražím, a ground of about 2,500 places beside the local railway station, and competes in the Czech National Football League, the second tier, which it reached in 2016 and where it has stayed since. Its colours are blue and white, and it fields a full set of youth teams alongside the first squad. Prostějov is better known in the Czech Republic for handball and tennis, which makes a second-tier football side notable for a town of its size.
