Feyenoord is a Dutch football club from the south of Rotterdam, founded on 19 July 1908 as Wilhelmina. It plays at De Kuip, a ground of about 47,500 places and one of the most storied stadiums in Europe, and competes in the Eredivisie. Feyenoord have won fifteen national championships, the European Cup in 1970 as the first Dutch club to do so, the UEFA Cup twice and the Intercontinental Cup. It plays in red and white and is nicknamed de club van het volk, the people's club.
