NK Istra 1961 is a Croatian football club from Pula on the Istrian peninsula, founded in 1961. It plays at the Stadion Aldo Drosina, a ground of 10,000 places, and competes in the Croatian Football League. The club has been a regular in the top division since 2009. It plays in green and yellow. Pula is best known for its Roman amphitheatre, and the club shares the town with the older NK Istra.
