Bunnings Group Limited, trading as Bunnings Warehouse, is an Australian hardware and garden centre chain. It began in Bunbury, Western Australia in 1886, when the brothers Arthur and Robert Bunning, who had emigrated from England, started a sawmilling business, and it moved into retail after becoming a public company in 1952. The first warehouse style store opened in Melbourne in 1994, the year Wesfarmers took ownership. By 2025 it had 382 stores in Australia and New Zealand.
