GIF Sundsvall is a Swedish football club from Sundsvall in Medelpad, founded on 25 August 1903. It plays at the NP3 Arena, a ground of about 8,000 places, and competes in the Swedish league. The club has moved between Allsvenskan and Superettan for decades and reached the Swedish Cup final in 2019. It plays in red and black and is known as Giffarna. Sundsvall is the largest city on the Bothnian coast between Gävle and Umeå.
