Budapest Honvéd FC is a Hungarian football club from the Kispest district of Budapest, founded on 3 August 1909 as Kispest AC and renamed after it became the army club in 1949. It plays at the Bozsik Aréna, a ground of 8,200 places, and competes in the Hungarian league. Honvéd was the club of Ferenc Puskás and most of the Mighty Magyars of the 1950s, and has won fourteen Hungarian championships. It plays in red and black. Its name means Homeland Defence.
