Kruidvat is a Dutch chain of drugstores selling health and beauty products, with branches in Belgium as well. The first shop was opened in September 1975 by Ed During and Dick Siebrand. The chain is known for its weekly offers, and in the past it sold cheap CDs and books, among them classical recordings released under the Brilliant Classics name. Kruidvat belongs to AS Watson, the health and beauty arm of the Hong Kong group CK Hutchison.
