US Lecce is an Italian football club from Lecce in Apulia, founded in 1908. It plays at the Stadio Via del Mare, a ground of 31,533 places, and competes in Serie A. The club has moved between the top two divisions for decades and is known for a support that fills its stadium regardless of the level. It plays in yellow and red and is nicknamed I Giallorossi or I Salentini. Lecce is the main city of the Salento peninsula, and the club's long trips to the north are part of its identity.
