Magyar Posta Zrt., known in English as Hungarian Post, is the national postal operator of Hungary and is owned by the Hungarian state. Its history goes back to 1867, when the Hungarian postal service became a separate administration. Besides letter and parcel delivery it offers logistics services, banking and financial services and marketing services. It keeps a network of post offices covering the whole country, including small rural settlements.
