Nando's is a South African fast casual restaurant chain, founded in Johannesburg and now present in many countries, among them Australia, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Its menu is built around flame grilled chicken in the Portuguese peri-peri style, and the peri-peri sauces are also sold in bottles under the same name. The name comes from a nickname for the given name Fernando, after one of the founders. Outlets range from full restaurants to drive-thru sites.
