Spar Nord Bank is a Danish bank based in North Jutland whose history goes back to 12 May 1824, when a savings bank was set up in Aalborg for the town and the surrounding county. After a series of mergers during the twentieth century the name Sparekassen Nordjylland was shortened to its present short form. During the 2010s the bank opened branches in larger towns outside North Jutland. By 2019 it was the sixth largest bank in Denmark.
