It sells books, art and craft materials, gifts, toys, games and stationery, largely at low fixed prices and in multibuy offers. The chain has more than 500 stores across the United Kingdom and Ireland and also sells online. Dean Hoyle, who earlier built the greetings card chain Card Factory, is chairman and holds about 15 percent of the shares, and Gavin Peck is group chief executive.
