Whitcoulls is a New Zealand chain selling books, stationery, gifts, games and toys, with 54 shops around the country. It was formed in 1971 by the merger of two long established booksellers and printers: Whitcombe and Tombs, founded in 1888, and Coulls Somerville Wilkie, founded in 1871. Since 2011 it has belonged to the New Zealand family firm James Pascoe Group, and it now trades as Whitcoulls 2011 Limited.
