UD Almería, in full Unión Deportiva Almería, is a Spanish football club from Almería in Andalusia, founded on 26 July 1989 and known by its present name since 2001. It plays at the Power Horse Stadium, a ground of about 18,000 places built for the 2005 Mediterranean Games, and competes in the Segunda División. The club has had several spells in La Liga, most recently after promotion in 2022. It plays in red and white stripes and is nicknamed Los Rojiblancos or Los Indálicos, after the Indalo, the region's prehistoric rock figure.
