Illums Bolighus is a Danish retailer of household furnishings, based in Copenhagen, where its original flagship store stands at Amagertorv 10 in the city centre. The company dates from 1925 and was bought in 2005 by a group of investors led by the chief executive Henrik Ypkendanz. Since then it has opened stores in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany. It now has three shops in Copenhagen and one in Aarhus, alongside branches in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stockholm, Malmö and Hamburg.
