Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is an American fast food chain that opened its first restaurant on 28 August 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. That original location is still known within the company as the Mothership. The menu is deliberately short, built around chicken fingers served with crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and a dipping sauce. The chain was started by Todd Graves and takes its name from his dog, Raising Cane.
