Sagan Tosu is a Japanese football club from Tosu in Saga Prefecture, founded in 1997. It plays at Ekimae Real Estate Stadium, a ground of about 24,000 places right beside the railway station, and competes in the J2 League. The club finished as high as fifth in the J1 League. It plays in blue and pink. Sagan is a play on the prefecture's name and on the Japanese word for sandstone, for grains of sand pressed into a single rock.
