Yo-Chi is an Australian frozen yogurt franchise built around self service: customers fill their own cup at the machines, add toppings and pay by weight. The first shop opened in Melbourne in 2012. Growth was slow at first, but after two acquisitions the chain expanded quickly during the 2020s, and it has become popular in particular with customers of Generation Z. The shops are run by franchisees under the Yo-Chi name.
