Auntie Anne's is an American franchised chain of pretzel shops, founded in 1988 in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, by Anne F. Beiler and her husband Jonas. The shops sell soft pretzels, dips and drinks, and also sell a home baking mix for people who want to make pretzels themselves. The chain has more than 1,200 outlets, most of them in shopping malls and outlet centres but also in airports, train stations, universities and motorway service areas.
