Brussels Airlines is the flag carrier and largest airline of Belgium, based at Brussels Airport. It was formed in 2006 through the merger of SN Brussels Airlines and Virgin Express, and it flies to more than a hundred destinations in Europe, Africa, West Asia and North America. The company also offers charter flights, aircraft maintenance and crew training. It is part of the Lufthansa Group and a member of Star Alliance, and its code SN comes from its predecessors Sabena and SN Brussels Airlines.
