Don Quijote is a Japanese discount store chain, founded in 1980 and headquartered in Meguro, Tokyo. Its stores sell a very wide range of goods under one roof: clothing, food, jewellery, housewares, tools, sporting goods and electronics, packed into narrow aisles and often open late into the night. The chain trades in Japan and abroad in Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia and the United States. It is widely known by the short name Donki, and its overseas shops trade as Don Don Donki.
