Cinema City is a brand of multiplex cinemas in central and eastern Europe, with sites in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. The chain grew out of Cinema City International and has been present in Poland since 1999, where it holds close to 40 per cent of the multiplex market. It is run by the Regal Cineworld group, a British and American operator that is the second largest cinema company in the world.
