Conforama is a French retailer of furniture and household goods. It was founded on 12 December 1967 in Saint-Priest, near Lyon, by Pierre and Guy Sordoillet together with Jean Moll and Jacques Ragageot. In 2018 it had about 13,500 employees worldwide, of whom around 9,000 worked in France, and besides its home market it trades in other European countries including Italy. The company is owned by Ibex Topco B.V.
