De Bijenkorf, Dutch for the beehive, is a chain of high end department stores in the Netherlands, with its flagship store on Dam Square in Amsterdam. The shops sell clothing, footwear, bedding, furniture, jewellery, beauty products and house wares. The chain is owned by the Selfridges Group, which also owns Selfridges in Britain and Brown Thomas and Arnotts in Ireland. It was a member of the International Association of Department Stores from 1929 to 2012.
