EasyJet plc is a British low cost airline and package holiday group with its head office at Luton Airport. Since it was set up in 1995 it has grown through acquisitions and new bases, and it now flies 927 routes in more than 34 countries through its affiliates EasyJet UK, EasyJet Switzerland and EasyJet Europe. Its subsidiary EasyJet Holidays sells package trips to more than 100 destinations in Europe and North Africa. The group employs around 13,000 people and is listed on the London Stock Exchange in the FTSE 250 index.
