Eataly is an Italian chain of large food halls that bring together restaurants, food and drink counters, a bakery, retail shelves and a cooking school under one roof. It was founded by Oscar Farinetti, an entrepreneur who had previously worked in the consumer electronics business, and it collaborates with the Slow Food movement. The company is based in Monticello d'Alba in Piedmont, and its stores sell Italian produce and prepared dishes in Italy and abroad.
