Elche CF is a Spanish football club from Elche in the province of Alicante, founded on 10 January 1923. It plays at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero, a ground of about 33,700 places, and competes in La Liga. The club spent much of the 1960s in the top flight, finishing fifth in 1964, and has returned to it several times since, most recently after promotion in 2025. It plays in white with a green stripe and is nicknamed Los Franjiverdes, the green-striped ones.
