FC Zbrojovka Brno is a Czech football club from Brno in South Moravia, founded in 1913 as SK Židenice and named after the Zbrojovka arms factory that long backed it. It plays at the ShipEx Arena, a ground of 10,785 places, and returns to the Czech First League after winning the second division. The club won the Czechoslovak championship in 1978. It plays in red and white and is nicknamed Zbrojováci, the gunsmiths. Brno is the country's second city, and the club's crowds are among the largest outside Prague.
