It was founded in 1910 by Samuel Rosenberg as Bear Creek Orchards in Medford, Oregon, as a premium fruit company, and Medford still holds its headquarters, orchards, manufacturing and a distribution centre. The company sells by direct mail, online, through corporate gifting and at its single flagship store in Medford, and runs a second distribution centre in Hebron, Ohio. It also owns the Wolferman's and Vital Choice brands.
