Karlsruher SC is a German football club from Karlsruhe in Baden-Württemberg, founded in 1894 and in its present form since a 1952 merger. It plays at the BBBank Wildpark, a ground of 33,180 places, and competes in the 2. Bundesliga. The club won the German championship in 1909 as Phönix Karlsruhe and the DFB-Pokal in 1955 and 1956. It plays in blue and white. Oliver Kahn and Mehmet Scholl both came through its academy.
