Kashiwa Reysol is a Japanese football club from Kashiwa in Chiba Prefecture, founded in 1940 as the works team of Hitachi. It plays at Sankyo Frontier Kashiwa Stadium, a ground of about 15,900 places, and competes in the J1 League. The club won the J1 title in 2011 as a newly promoted side, the only time that has happened in Japan. It plays in yellow and black. Reysol joins the Spanish words for king and sun.
